# Product Context

> Give Lucent project-specific context about your product and users.

Product Context helps Lucent understand your product, its users, and the flows
that matter when it analyzes sessions.

## Add context

Product Context applies to the current project selected in the app header. If
your organization has more than one enabled replay source, use the project
selector in the header before opening **Settings → Product Context**. When your
organization has only one enabled replay source, Lucent selects its project
automatically and hides the header selector.

Describe the product experience represented by the current project's sessions.

Keep the context specific to the selected project. Include its users, important
workflows, expected behavior, and any terminology Lucent should understand.

<Note>
  Lucent scopes newly configured Product Context to the current project. During
  migration, an existing project may temporarily use previously configured
  organization-level Product Context until project-specific settings are
  available. Newly configured projects use project-specific settings.
